Mariya works with growth-stage companies, established industry leaders, Boards, and investors to evaluate and deploy new solutions and disruptive business models that drive sustainable growth.

As the President and Chief Innovation Officer at CareQuest Innovation Partners, Mariya led impact investing in solutions that bridge the gaps between medical and dental teams, and increase access and equity in oral-systemic health. In this role, Mariya established and led the first-of-its-kind Oral Systemic Health Accelerator, SMILE Health, a CareQuest Innovation Partners program.

As the Vice President of Innovation at Anthem, now Elevance, the nation’s second largest health benefits company, Mariya designed and launched products and platforms to accelerate Anthem’s transformation to a digital-first enterprise and improve the lives of Anthem’s 30+ millions members.

As Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting, Mariya drove the development of Deloitte’s Future of Work Center of Excellence, a portfolio of investments across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA that used exponential technologies (e.g. blockchain, artificial intelligence) to redefine the future of work.

As Financial Analyst at Barclays Capital in London, Mariya evaluated the fiscal strength of European and EMEA banks in the middle of an unprecedented global financial crisis.

As an activated patient, Mariya used curiosity as an antidote to fear and befriended her five-pound kidney tumor, Bertha, to create a positive outcome from a scary diagnosis. Mariya’s personal journey as a patient still fuels her passion for lasting change in healthcare.
